Our client are a successful privately owned specialist company based in Chessington Surrey operating in a variety of sectors within the high end fit out market.
Within the Museums sector, we are looking to employ a highly organised, conscientious, self-motivated Assistant Project Manager with a good background in project management, coordination, processes, administration and reporting.
Experience of Museum fit out and construction sectors is desirable as is a Project Management qualification. All of our team members are motivated by a challenge, can find solutions to problems and enjoy the fast paced projects that we deliver. The role requires attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The Assistant Project Manager needs to be assertive, able to prioritise and at times be self-directed.
Main responsibilities include:
Project Management and support including:
- Liaison with the Team, Consultant team, Design teams, sub-contractors and any other professionals involved with the project
- Production and management of tracker documents to ensure that key project processes are controlled
- Following up of actions with internal and external teams
- Collation of information from multiple sources
- Reading and understanding Construction Drawings
- Assisting the Project Management team with analysis of information and identification of issues
- Timely production of reports and meeting minutes
- Management of small works packages
The role could involve short travel overseas, when necessary.
